Configuring a TSS System

• Select the Rack Assembly
  
  To select the size Rack Assembly, select the size Tool Changer to be used. The TSS system is used for models QC-5 through QC-21.

• Select the Interface Option
  
  Select from three different interface options for attaching the tools to the stand:
  
  Option #1 - Interface plates that attach to the Tool Side of the Tool Changer.

  Option #2 - Alignment pins attached to unused air ports on the Tool Changer. These air ports will no longer be usable for air pass-through. The remaining air ports will require the proper air fittings to prevent contact with the Rack. This option with a QC-21 Tool Changer uses one of the utility module mounting flats for attaching an alignment pin. 
  
  Option #3 - A Locking Mounting Block System uses a horizontal Rail for mounting instead of the Rack Assembly and Tool Adapter Bar.

• Select the Adapter Bar
  
  To select the Adapter Bar, determine the number of Racks to be used.

• Select Rail Components
  
  To select the Rail components, approximate the area that the Tool Stand would fit into including maximum allowable height.

• Determine if Tool Presence Sensing is needed.
